    Nieder’s professionality originates from a consolidated experience, also on the international level, in the development of metallic covering and façade systems.

    The workmanship of all kind of metals represents Nieder’s distinctive characteristic - the quintessence of a “tailor-made” craftmanship combined to the careful industrial precision, that has been passed on for three generations. The core item within Nieder’s production flows from the perfect union between technique and beauty: Wavin, a shape inspired from the nature forming an exclusive multifunction covering system composed by three-dimensional wavy metal panels, to be applied to both interior and architectural design.

  • WAVIN

    Wavin is a three-dimensional wavy metal panelling that can be produced in an unlimited range of colours besides the possibility of applying backlight made of LED strips allowing the light to come out from the panel’s microperforated line.

    The use of what was in the beginning conceived as bottles-carrier wall, given its particular aesthetic and multifunctional features, is then converted into different applications not only destined to interior design (bookcase, room separator wall, bar/counter panelling), but also to the exterior covering of buildings. In fact, Wavin successfully meets from “residential” to “contract” the preferences and needs of an ultra-contemporaneous mood of dealing with design and decor.

    APPLICATION

    Wavin is contemporaneously a ligthweight and tough product. Its assembly is easy and quick as it is made through indirect snap fit, without using screws and visible metal pins.

    Thanks to its versatility it can be used to develop, on one hand, interior design projects - tout court wall covering, self-standing wall, furniture such as open-shelf, bookcase, bottle bearer, reception counter or bar panelling. On the other hand, to cover building’s façades, in line with latest international ornamental trends. Assembled on the wall, Wavin instills the building a deep sense of aperture and width of volumes, even when its size is not so big. The outstanding effect provided by the sinuous dual curved system can be accentuated by the application of LED strips in the back of the structure: the light turns into multiple facets creating changeable shadows, whilst its twinkling in the dark creates a stellar effect.
